Boat Trailering Checklist!
1.Use a Safety Checklist for your tow vehicle
2.Coupler,hitch, & hitch ball are of the SAME size.
3.Coupler and safety chains are installed and secured to the hitch of the tow vehicle
4.All fastners/lugnuts are properly tightened
5.Wheel bearings maintained
6.Load is within maximum carrying capacity
7.Tires are maintained and properly inflated
8.Trailer lights operate perfectly
9.Trailer brakes (if present) operate flawlessly
10.Trailer jack is used/stowed properly
11. Stow gear to prevent loss or damage
12.INSTALL BOAT COVER PROPERLY-USING ALL TIEDOWN STRAPS.
